If you are looking for some delectable, ethnic Assamese cuisine cooked in mud chulha then this is the place to go. The staff at this place are so comforting and hospitable that it makes your visit to this place worth full. The place has been kept close to nature right from the thatched roof hut to the furniture carved out of wood logs and bamboos. The hospitality of the owner Abhijit is like the cherry on top of a cake. I would definitely love to visit it again and would recommend strongly to others.

A beautiful restaurant located near Sonapur is just perfect place for dining with friends and family. The ambience will give you a reminder about the Assamese culture. Full of scenic beauty, it is a quiet and tranquil place with a soothing music adding 🍒 cherry to the cake. Both online and offline modes of payment are available but it's better to carry cash due to network issue I faced.
I had a Veg Assamese platter which consisted of a whole lot of items including rice, dal, aloo potika (mashed potatoes), mashed brinjal, three different types of sabjis (bottle gourd, bitter gourd and a mixed sabji), Kosu pitika and til chutney. Adding to the taste, there were two chutney, one of dried fish which was literally mouthwatering. This platter costs Rs 120/-
I also had an extra item of small fish fried with onions and chillies which is a must try item. The fishes were so well cooked and crispy that it hit all the taste buds. It was just for Rs 100/-
I also tried a boiled egg along.
Highly recommended. Cheers!

Hidden amongst the shrubs and dusty roads, this place is the perfect example of how not to judge a book by its cover.
The main sitting area is behind amidst the green foliage.
Been there twice and amazed both times. The thali had amazing assortments of favours. Please give it a try.

This place has a great indoor. Very soothing atmosphere. Service is pretty good.. what i found not up to mark was the food, specially the pork dry fry. The quantity was decent, but the taste was average. Yet, Assamese veg thali was pretty fine..so it's overall 7.5/10

A great place, with a great atmosphere and good food. Staff is very warm, and cooperative. There's parking available for your vehicle. The peaceful surrounding will leave behind a deep sense of satisfaction. You'll find solace here. Coming to the food, we had pork stir fry, smoked pork dry fry, dal and veg thali. The taste was average. The prices are reasonable. Bathrooms were clean. This place is nice to hang out with family and friends to spend some good quality time.
