We have spent 3 very superb days here! The place is amazing, with the view on the lake.
We have done 2 beautiful excursions crossing superb landscapes and villages, tea garden, riverside and waterfall.
We had the chance to see a ceremony in the village, just behind the homestay : a guru came and gave blessing to each villagers.
It was so interesting, and beautiful, with all the villagers dressed in white, the prayers, and the music !
We have loved to stay here.

If you want to have a peaceful, and bonding time with family, then this is the place. Beautifully surrounded by nature, the lake is blooming with Lilies, sounds of birds seem musical, clean washroom and very responsible, friendly and good service by the staff. The prices are reasonable as well. We had an amazing time.
Highly recommended.

Great place to visit for a day outing! Especially loved the fact that it is pet-friendly. Ensure to not litter whatsoever and drinking is not encouraged.
The food is great. Home-cooked and fresh which is why service might take some time. The wait is worth it, however.
It’s about 70km from Guwahati and the drive to this place is even more beautiful.
You’ll cross the Vulture Research Center and so one might spot a vulture or two if you’re lucky.
Really hope they can keep this place as serene and clean in the future too

First things first, the location. It's amazing. The place is nestled just beside the lake and among sal trees (I think). All day long, I was able to see and hear whistling ducks all around, parakeet flocks flying about, and numerous other flora and fauna.
Moving on to the food, it was a highlight of my stay. Home-cooked food served with lots of love is always a winner. It's a single-family owned and operated place, so you may need to have a little patience with the pace of service. They served a spread of local delicacies with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, including locally-sourced fish, which was my personal favorite. Overall, I really enjoyed the food.
As for the stay, it was comfortable. This is not a premium resort with plush rooms but more like an eco-friendly homestay. The room was clean, cozy, and had the basic necessities.
During my brief stay, I didn't explore much, but I was told that there's a beautiful waterfall not very far away. Frankly, the lake itself felt so calm and peaceful that I didn't feel like doing anything else. But that's just me.
If you're seeking a peaceful retreat, I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

I stayed at this place on 21 September 2024.
The tariff is 2500 for a room with a bed , light and a fan. No cupboard, no television.
Food was charged extra .
Whole time , after the check in , there was no electricity and the generator did not work. We had dinner in the dark and only one candle was given.
We had to repeatedly ask for the candle and had to wait a long time before we got them. We were made to feel as if we are being a burden to the owner and asking for free service.
My otherwise spectacular holiday ended with a nightmare. The owner was not even sorry for the awful service. Incredibly rude woman.
I would not recommend anyone to stay here.
