My stay at Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Every request was met with a warm smile and prompt attention.
The road to the resort itself is quite memorable. The resort is tucked away in corner of Cherrapunjee next to village Laitkynsew. It is one of the best resorts in the city with outstanding services. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The resort had many activities including local dances and small concert with great singer in the evening. In morning you can enjoy walk through the local village wherein the guide takes you through flora and details of the village.
If you’re looking for a place where service shines, Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort is the perfect choice. I recommend it highly and can’t wait to return!

Our stay in Cherrapunji Holiday Resort was incredible. The views from the resort are breathtaking. The room was very well thought off and maintained. But what topped our experience was hospitality from the warm and kind staff and resort owners who were very helpful. The food was very nice and homely. The cultural programs in the evening were very well organized. Would totally recommend this resort for visit in Cherrapunji.

One of the best places to stay in Cherrapunjee, this gem is tucked away deep in the jungles, offering breathtaking, picturesque views. I was captivated by the scenery, especially during the mornings and at sunset—truly the best sunset I've ever witnessed! 😍
This place offers accommodations with all meals included (if I’m not mistaken), and the food and service exceeded our expectations. The rooms were lovely, and we chose one with a view. The beds were super comfortable, the interiors were beautifully designed, and they provided all necessary toiletries, ensuring we lacked nothing. The staff was incredible, always greeting us with warm smiles, and I loved that they employ locals from the village.
Although there were occasional power outages at night, it wasn’t much of an issue since the temperatures were cooler. The food was excellent, catering to both North and South Indian cuisines. A standout feature of this property is that they provide accommodations and dining for drivers as well. When we left, the staff even gave chocolates not just to us, their guests, but also to our driver, thanking him as well—such a thoughtful gesture!
I highly recommend this place for its exceptional hospitality, service, wonderful people, and, of course, the delicious food!

One of the best resorts we've stayed at during the course of our Meghalaya trip. The food is great, the location is excellent and the whole resort has a homely feel. They even have cultural programs in the evenings where the locals perform Bihu dance for the guests.
The view from the resort's common balconies are just amazing!

I was travelling with my parents, my wife, her sister in law and my niece. We were here to celebrate our niece's birthday and wanted it to be special. After a lot research we decided to pick holiday resort to celebrate her special day. Prior to booking we were told there will be cultural activities which would include the local khasi tribal dance followed by live music by the local musician. Though our check in time was 1pm we reached the property at 3:45 pm. Firstly at the reception we were asked to wait for 20-25 mins as our rooms were not ready as some toilet work was going on.
My question here is, if we had arrived at 1pm would they have made us wait for 3hrs? Could they not provide prior information on the same? Anyway once we got our rooms we got ready to head to the restaurant for the cultural but we were informed that culturals don't happen on Sundays. The irony here is at the time of booking nothing of this sort was mentioned and they told us there will be culturals. On questioning them they said "we are sorry but maybe we provided this information by mistake."
Again my question here is, does a sorry or an apology make up for all the time we lost driving to your property? Does it bring back the bitter memories you created for us on my niece's special day?
It's unfortunate really, we went here with a lot of hope and enthusiasm but all we got was unprofessional service.
With a heavy heart and disappointment we decided to pack our bags and leave immediately and requested for a refund which they were kind enough to do so.
Paying 11500 and facing such kind of service is not worth it . We have stayed in most of the luxury resorts and hotels across India but this really is a below average service that is being offered by holiday resort.
Nothing against Mr Dennis but quality needs to be better.
