This is exactly as you’ll find on their website. A farm stay, not a resort but a calm and secluded place with cozy cabins. The home cooked meals by James’s family was wonderful. James take lot of care in organising meals and comfort of guests. His hard work is visible in how well maintained the overall property is. If you like solitude and cherish small cozy family type stays - you will enjoy! Not to mention a great working gym also on the property.

Adding to the justifiably glowing reviews of this nest in the hills, I’d like to do James and everyone who comes here the service of setting expectations for your stay.
1. This is a bed and breakfast. Take the meaning of the term quite literally. You get a beautifully maintained and furnished cabin. The food is simple and home cooked.
2. James and his family have built up this abode with very little help. Everything is powered by solar as far as I can see. Having ridden these hills over the past two days, I can only wonder at the sheer logistics to procure even something as simple as eggs. If the variety of food seems limited, please understand this is luxury by hill standards.
3. Treat your cabin as an extension of their home. Don’t demand or feel entitled to labor from the family. If your room is a little untidy, just ask for a broom and a mop and get it done, as you would at your relatives.
4. The road to the place is a little bumpy. Drive slowly and carefully.
5. The family has an excellently equipped gym.
6. If the family seems a bit standoffish, please understand that they have every right to their privacy in their own home. There’s more than enough here to keep you entertained without needing their attention.
7. They have two dogs - Max and Caesar. Max is a sucker for pets and may nibble playfully. Don’t be alarmed. Caesar, in classic German Shepherd fashion, cares little for your attention. Also, don’t let Max steal your seat by the bonfire. I had to negotiate with him for 20 minutes last night.
8. Wake up early and stick to their breakfast schedule. It’s worth the beauty of the birds and the sun.

Great Place to rejuvenate, mesmerizing ambience, Enchanting landscape, Delicious Food, Good People,
Reasonable pricings . Really inspiring for our Host there Mr James and his son taking up many challenges while keeping an order to the place. As of hospitality, Everything is point to point, Elevated professionalism and all ordered meals has to be documented on a white board which gave me some hiccups. Purely westernized. No strings attached. No bonds.
Overall Great stay and my parents are happy staying there.

A stay that was long over due and couldn't have been more happier to have made it finally. What I loved the most was the nature you are surrounded with and the mindfulness behind the concept of this cozy stay. What you can find here is the labour of love whether it be the food or the stay. Thankful to James for the last minute upgrade which was a big surprise. Blessings and love to your family.

Wonderful place amidst the pine trees. Loved James and Valerie‘s hospitality. Perfect for a retreat. Highlight was the fluffy delicious pancakes we had for breakfast! A hidden gem in Meghalaya. Stayed at the A frame and it was super warm and comfortable yet spacious. Added advantage is the proximity to most of the popular tourist spots in Meghalaya. Would highly recommend.
