Pathetic is a small word for this resort. It is not a resort at all in any way. I am shocked to see all positive reviews for this hotel. It is an untidy property with bad food where they dont even serve bread in breakfast. Omelette is non veg for them. In the name of morning buffett they had kept lot of poha which was all cold, white chane, that too cold, and pooris stocked up. Nothing else, no tissues at all. And the condition of room was like, there were no working charging points. We were unable to charge our phones for the entire night we stayed, no wifi and no cellular network available. They just sell the rooms on the basis of connected balconies. My question is will the customer stay in balcony for the night? Basic room amenities were all missing. We had to call them for no water in bathroom. They had torn blankets and broken wardrobes. Please don't make a mistake of staying here, we were scammed by our travel agent. It was such a relief to finally checkout from this dirty place.

Rooms are well set clean with all the amenities required including heater although they charged 200 per night for that. Rooms have river side balcony with great view. They will also arrange bonfire at rs 600.
Food is amazing i tried egg curry , chicken , dal , roti.
Overall great experience definitely keep this property in mind when visiting north east.

I stayed at this property with my family and my review will be brutally honest. I would never recommend this property to anyone.
Firstly, the location is an under construction site and not that great. Do not believe the pictures you see on the internet.
Rooms were literally small. A twin occupancy will not even have place for free movement. Lilen was dirty, Electric kettle was non-functional, there was no toiletries.
Lastly, room & food service was pathetic. They served us 2 rotis & 1 small piece chicken in dinner. After serving the food, entire kitchen staff vanished and there were no one to refill the food.I had to leave my food in the middle and search for kitchen staff to refil the food. They had the tendency of ignoring visitor’s request and arrogant behaviour.
A bunch of young lads are running the property who don’t know how to do the job properly. Complete bullshit.

This hotel offers exceptional service with a friendly and attentive staff that makes every guest feel at home. While the views are modest and network coverage is spotty, the warm atmosphere and excellent hospitality more than make up for it. It’s a perfect choice for those who value personal attention and a peaceful environment

Rooms - Very Good Rooms. Every room with different design and color combination, also rooms with different settings according to the taste of the Guest and their requirements. Nice clean bathrooms with hot water.
Service - We had a very beautiful time spending in the Riverside Resort. We had booked the full Resort for 4 days and some stayed 7 days. Well to tell you the fact my daughter and would be son in law ventured this Resort. We had our daughters Roce Ceremony and being My wife and my birthday a sudden surprise party was organized. I have no words to say or explain of the staffs of Riverside Resort. They were extremely very good, resourceful, honest, simply quiet workers fulfilling every need of ours in the shortest time. They could arrange the Kitchen for our Chefs, Helpers for the Chefs, the groceries, the chair tables for sudden birthday party, the other hotel rooms for the immediate extra rooms, heart melting gift given to our daughter by the staffs. Their service during the breakfast, lunch dinner were excellent, very humble. Very helpful to our old parents with wheel chair shifting upstairs and downstairs. They were the most excellent Staffs I met. Super.
Location - Wow, just that I can say, its on the main road going to Cherrapunji by the riverside which makes it more relaxing and beautiful. very technically built Resort where you can have your private parties. A very peaceful place with a relaxing atmosphere.
When ever in Mylliem Shilong that would be our place to stay.
